These
drill bits are made from best quality, high strength, cobalt steel. They are superior
to bits made from high speed steel. Available in quantities in (brackets).
For example G#40 is £5.00 for 4 drill bits. |
|
|
|
Number
drills are used as clearance drills for rivets and bolts. Drill #40 for a
3/32” rivet. Drill #30 for 1/8” rivets (many pop rivets are this size =
3.25mm). Drill #31 for 5/32 rivets (4.0 mm). Drill #12 for 3/16” rivets &

These drill
bits are 12” (300mm) long with approximately 1¾” of fluted portion. As well
as being very useful for drilling when a long reach is required, they will
also bend – so can be used to drill holes in very awkward places. Make sure
you have a good centre punch mark otherwise it will skid off! |

shank drill bits have a ¼” x 28tpi thread on the end to fix into a 90° angle
drill attachment, such as part no G9925 or G8105. The ½” long drill bits
